Darrell Bodnar Named Chief Information Officer of North Country Healthcare

North Country Healthcare is pleased to announce the promotion of Darrell Bodnar to chief information officer (CIO) of North Country Healthcare (NCH).

Bodnar has been employed by Weeks Medical Center for 30 years. For 22 years , he held positions in information technology as network administrator, project manager, department manager, and, most recently, department director. He added the responsibilities of NCH system director of information technology in 2017.

In early 2019, Bodnar earned a bachelor of science degree in computer science.  He holds certifications in the following: CompTIA Project+ for Project Management, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Mobility+, and ITIL v3. Bodnar also completed a healthcare administration certificate program that includes required coursework in health law, privacy and advocacy, healthcare delivery models, strategic leadership, healthcare finance, economics, risk management, health informatics, and vulnerable population management.  He is an active member of the Health Information Management and Systems Society and the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.

North Country Healthcare is a non-profit affiliation of four medical facilities in the North Country of New Hampshire, including Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook, Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, and North Country Home Health and Hospice Agency in Littleton.
