In order to inform patients, their families, physicians, and the community about the importance of wound care and its ability to save lives and limbs, New Hampshire governor Christopher Sununu proclaimed June 4-8 as Wound Care Awareness Week. The governor sent his proclamation to the Wound Healing staff at Weeks Medical Center. The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Weeks Medical Center is a recognized Center of Excellence in wound care. Thank you Gov. Sununu for recognizing the importance of wound care and Weeks efforts to raise awareness for all citizens.
