The Flu Is Severe and Widespread in Our Region This Year! Take Action to Prevent It!
No. 1: Get a flu shot.
There’s still time to get a flu shot. Call your primary care provider to make an appointment at 603-788-5095.
No. 2: Stop the spread of germs.
Try to avoid contact with sick people or limit your contact if you are sick. If you are sick, stay at home to avoid spreading germs. Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth—this spreads germs. Clean and disinfect all surfaces and objects.
Flu symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, body aches, headache, chills, and fatigue. Some people may have vomiting and diarrhea. Contact your primary care provider if you believe you have the flu. Call 603-788-5095 for assistance.
