Lancaster Patient Care Center Construction Update December 10, 2018
Pouring of concrete is coming to an end. Gosslin Concrete will be finishing the last pours this week. AB Excavators is back filing around the poured foundation walls after the walls have been sealed and insulation installed. Another retention wall is being constructed on the west side of the building to allow a six foot access for egress and supplies for the ground level of the new center.
By the end of the week you should see the steel erectors putting steel in place. We’re expecting the steel to be completed in three weeks. The contractor will be working seven days a week to finish this part of the project. Once the steel is in place, the wall studding and sheathing installation will commence.
Preparations are being made to begin the installation of the biomass heating lines, O2, electrical, data, and phone lines between the biomass building and the new center. Later there will be an interruption in traffic flow when these services are being installed across Hospital Road.
