Lancaster Patient Care Center Construction Update January 2, 2019

Currently, Hospital Road is closed as AB Excavation will be digging a ditch across the road to install piping for heating and oxygen. Last week the water and sewer lines were extended beneath the road. Previously installed conduits when the biomass plant was installed were located and extended to the new building. There should be one more day of work to excavate across Hospital Road to install drainage piping from the new building to a new storm water retention pond being installed behind the Storage Building.

The building steel is in place. Bouchard Steel will be completing the fit and finish work in preparation of the structural engineer’s inspection this Friday. Any deficiencies found will be corrected at that time.

Ground thawing has commenced this past weekend on the ground floor in preparation for the McGee Plumbing to install piping that will be placed under the concrete floor. This process of ground thawing will be done in sections until all the piping and electrical conduits are in place. Happy New Year!
