Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Weeks Medical Center Receives National Award for Excellence

The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Weeks Medical Center was recently presented with the Robert A. Warriner Center of Excellence Award. The Wound Healing Center achieved patient satisfaction rates higher than 92 percent and a healing rate of at least 91 percent in less than 30 median days to heal, for a minimum of two consecutive years. This prestigious honor by presented by Healogics, the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services.

The team does fantastic work and is completely committed to providing excellent care and customer service to our patients. The Center of Excellence Award is named for Dr. Robert A. Warriner III, a pioneer in wound care and the former chief medical officer for Healogics. The Weeks Wound Healing Center also earned the Center of Distinction Award from Healogics for its quality care.

The Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Weeks Medical is a member of the Healogics network of nearly 700 wound care centers, with access to benchmarking data and proven experience treating approximately 2.5 million chronic wounds.
