NCH Recovery Opens in Littleton

Littleton, NH – October 21, 2026 – North Country Healthcare (NCH) is expanding access to substance use disorder (SUD) treatment and recovery support in the North Country with its new behavioral health clinic, NCH Recovery, at 81 Bethlehem Road in Littleton.

Previously offering recovery support one day per week at the Littleton Patient Care Clinic on Cottage Street, NCH Recovery is now open at the new location Monday through Friday, with walk ins welcome, offering access to assessments, case management, Medicated Assisted Recovery services, and recovery support.

The clinic operates as a “spoke” of NCH’s Doorway “hub” at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. As part of a statewide initiative addressing the opioid crisis, there are nine Doorway hub locations across New Hampshire, including the Berlin location. A program of the NH State Opioid Response, The Doorway provides single points of entry for individuals seeking help for substance use, including treatment, support, or resources for prevention and awareness.

“Our goal is to make it easier for people to get the help they need when they are ready,” said NCH SUD Practice Manager Keri Pickford. “Whether you are looking to start your journey towards recovery or seeking long-term support, we can help with treatment, support, and connections to community resources.”

Just as at the Doorway in Berlin, NCH Recovery offers screening, treatment (including medication assisted treatment), prevention (including naloxone distribution), and recovery support services, plus support for loved ones. Eligible patients of Doorways state-wide can also access special funding support for needs such as clothing, food, transportation, medications, recovery housing, or even childcare during appointments. “Sometimes these needs stand between someone and their ability to take the next step towards healing,” says NCH SUD Case Manager Kayleigh Hartshorn. “Addressing these challenges is as vital as treatment.”

An open house for NCH Recovery will be held on Thursday, October 29 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors are invited to enjoy light refreshments as they tour the space, meet the team, learn about services and supports, and connect with recovery resources. Registrations are welcome but not required. To learn more or RSVP please visit https://bit.ly/NCHRecovery.

Weeks Medical Center, an affiliate of NCH, receives funding through NH DHHS via the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration State Opioid Response grant to run the Doorway program for NCH. In addition to the Doorway at AVH, NCH also offers recovery services at its Patient Care Clinics in Colebrook, Groveton, Lancaster, and Whitefield.

NCH Recovery-Littleton is now open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 81 Bethlehem Road, Littleton, NH. Walk ins are accepted. For appointments and more information, call 603-788-5075 or visit weeksmedical.org/department/addiction-recovery/.
