Coös County, NH- October 9, 2026 – North Country Healthcare is proud to announce the addition of two specialty providers. Leona Cloutier, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, is joining Weeks Medical Center’s Oncology department, while Dr. Geoffrey Starr returns to Androscoggin Valley Hospital’s Neurology department.
Leona Cloutier, MS, FNP-BC, has extensive experience in oncology, hematology, long-term care, and primary care. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Boston College’s William F. Connell School of Nursing, and most recently worked in the oncology department at MaineHealth Memorial Hospital in North Conway. Cloutier grew up in Gorham, NH and spent many treasured weekends with her grandparents and extended family in Groveton and Lancaster.
“I am truly honored to bring compassionate, high-quality care to the North Country in the oncology and hematology department,” said Cloutier. “I look forward to working with the teams at Weeks to provide excellent care for all our patients. I am committed at keeping quality of life at the forefront as we navigate our patients’ diagnoses.”

Geoffrey Starr, MD, is a board-certified neurologist with more than 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions, with a focus on neuromuscular diseases and disorders, such as Alzheimer’s and dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, and migraines and headaches. Dr. Starr earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Vermont College of Medicine and completed his residency training at the Medical Center Hospital of Vermont. He has been named a NH Top Doctor by New Hampshire Magazine every year since 2017.
“It’s great to be back at North Country Healthcare,” said Dr. Starr. “I’m very much looking forward to serving the community and providing comprehensive neurological care for those in need.”
