Matthew Streeter has been a member of the AVH Senior Management Team since 2021. He serves as Chief Financial Officer of North Country Healthcare. Matt has a Bachelor of Arts. Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and a Masters of Business Administration from Lakeland University. He has 14 years of healthcare leadership experience, and 25 years of leadership experience, overall. He serves as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, as well as the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Originally from Eastern Wisconsin, Matt, and his husband are now residing in the North Country of NH. Matt enjoys cooking, camping, home brewing, and travel. He is the Past-President of the Wisconsin Chapter of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and has served on the Council on Finance and Payment, as well as the Council on Rural Health for the Wisconsin Hospital Association. Matt was also featured on the cover of the October 2020 edition of HFM, the magazine of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Dr. Morgan joined the WMC Medical Staff in 2005 as the Medical Director of Anesthesiology. He has been a member of the Medical Executive team at Weeks since 2011. Dr. Morgan served as Chief of Surgery for nine years and President of the Medical Staff for four years. In 2020, Dr. Morgan assumed the position of Chief Medical Officer and joined the senior leadership team at Weeks. Dr. Morgan holds a BA in Chemistry from Columbia University in New York City and an MD from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. He completed an internship and residency in Anesthesiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. During his training, Dr. Morgan was named a Foundation for Anesthesia Education & Research Scholar. Dr. Morgan is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with specialty certification in Anesthesiology. He is also recognized as a Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA). Dr. Morgan is a longstanding active member of the ASA and a former executive council member of the NH Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. Morgan and his wife are both natives of the north country, growing up in Lancaster and Jefferson respectively. They have two children and together they enjoy traveling, biking, and paddle boarding.

As the newest member of Weeks Medical Center’s executive team, Karen brings many years of relevant healthcare management experience. Most recently, she held the position of Administrative Director over primary care, specialty care, radiology, laboratory, rehab therapies, environmental services, facilities management, and community relations at another New Hampshire Critical Access Hospital; this experience has given her a solid foundation in organizational operations. In 2020, Karen won NH Business Review’s Business Excellence Award in Healthcare. Currently working towards a Masters in Leadership, Karen holds a Bachelors of Arts in Healthcare Management, is a licensed Radiologic Technologist with certifications in CT and Mammography, and holds a Rural Health Care Professional certification.

Living in Monroe, NH, Karen is a life long New Hampshire resident. Growing up on a dairy farm embedded the importance of hard honest work from an early age. Marrying her husband Edward in 1994, they are proud parents of a son who shares healthcare passion as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. Karen has held a seat on the North Country Health Consortium’s Board of Director, as well as participated on a local Youth Restorative Justice Program’s panel. Her spare time is spent enjoying her family.

Ruby Berryman has been a Board of Trustees member for Weeks Medical Center since 2016. She serves on its Executive, Quality Oversight, and Board Development Committees. She is current Finance Chair, past chair of the Weeks Ethics Committee, and was a member of the most recent Search Committee for the NCH Chief Executive Officer. She also serves on the community boards for Coös Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), and the North Country Chamber.

Ruby Berryman

Ms. Berryman is a playwright, theatre artist and co-owner of The Lancaster Motel with her husband Brian. She holds an MFA in Playwriting (Spalding University Louisville, KY) and a BA in Theatre/Playwriting (University of California, San Diego).

Charlie Cotton is a retired professional social worker with extensive professional experience in community mental health, substance abuse treatment, developmental, and prevention services. His work, and his passion, has been working as an administrator and front-line worker serving individuals experiencing severe mental health conditions and in developing early childhood mental health services in Coös County. He has also worked as a businessperson, professor, field instructor, and served on numerous boards. He stays active as a board member for Weeks Medical Center, doing tax preparation with AARP, working with the NH Food Bank, and more. He is politically active as Chair for the Lancaster and Kilkenny Democrats, and At-Large representative with the Coös County Democrats.

Ms. Desrochers has been a Weeks Medical Center Board member since July 2008, previously serving as Board Chair. She also served as a North Country Healthcare Board member. Sarah has a degree in Accounting / Finance from SNHU and has been in banking for over 35 years, currently as a commercial lender.

Sarah grew up in the North Country, a daughter of family physicians; Dr. John Lewis and Dr. Jennifer Lewis. She and her husband Mark, raised their two daughters in Lancaster, and now reside in Sugar Hill. Serving on several non-profit boards, enjoying all the year-round outdoor activities our region offers, as well being a new grandparent keeps her busy and happy.

Ms. LaDuke's mission was to be a nurse. After graduating Mary Fletcher Hospital School of nursing, she moved to Boston, MA and was employed at the New England Deaconess Hospital where she worked for 3 years. She then moved to Roslindale, MA and worked at the Faulkner Hospital for 3 years. Having married and started a family, it was decided that the country would be better, so she and her family returned to Whitefield, and she worked as the Med Surg, ER, and 3 to 11 supervisor, at the B.D. Weeks Hospital (which it was named at the time), where she remained through many name changes, and 40 plus years.

Mr. Samson was born and raised in Lancaster, NH attending local schools and graduating from White Mountains Regional in 1998. He remained in NH after graduation, attending college at NHTI in Concord and completing his degree in Criminal Justice. Ed was hired as a Police Officer out of college working for multiple agencies in the central NH area. After meeting his wife Kelli who is from Gorham, NH, the two decided to return to the North Country to start a family and purchased a home in Whitefield in 2006. Ed was hired by the Whitefield Police Department as a patrol Sergeant in 2008 and became Chief of Police in 2012, the position he currently holds.

Ed and Kelli continue to reside in Whitefield, and have two sons ages 14 and 11. Ed is active in the community, coaching youth sports and staying involved in many local organizations.

Tom Mee has more than 30 years of experience in health care administration. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1985 from Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, and his Master of Business Administration in Finance in 1990 from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Before joining North Country Healthcare, Tom served as President and Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Greater Lansing in Flint, Michigan, a branch of McLaren Health Care, mid-Michigan’s largest health care system. During his tenure, he was recognized as “Healthcare Leader of the Year in 2017” by the Michigan Hospital Association. Tom also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Operations, and Chief Nursing Officer at McLaren.

Tom is a resident of Bethlehem and spends his personal time pursuing his hunting and fishing passions with his family. He’s been married to his high school sweetheart, Karen, for the past 35 years. They have two grown children, Samantha and Stephen, and are blessed with a young grandson Hayden. Tom is also an ardent follower of both professional and college sports with an emphasis on his native-Detroit home town favorites.
