The current maximum charge for a COVID-19 test and collection for all North Country Healthcare affiliates is $208. Most health insurance plans cover testing for COVID-19 without a copay, coinsurance, or deductible. If you do not have insurance or have a health insurance plan that does not fully cover the cost of testing, you may have access to cover the costs of testing via a New Hampshire Medicaid limited COVID-19 testing benefit. To apply online for the testing benefit, please visit NH EASY at nheasy.nh.gov and click on “COVID-19 Testing.” You may also ask for assistance with applying for the Medicaid testing benefit at each testing location when you call for your appointment.

BinaxNOW™ COVID-19 antigen testing is available for patients who have COVID-19 symptoms, with symptom onset within the past seven days. Testing is also available for patients without symptoms. However, test results may not be available as quickly. Patients being treated in a hospital emergency department or as an outpatient will also be tested, as appropriate.

Common symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, chills, cough, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting. If you are having symptoms, please quarantine until you receive your results.  If your symptoms worsen, contact your primary care provider’s office. If you do not have symptoms, monitor yourself for symptoms until you receive the test results. You will be given additional instructions if your results are positive.
